On Wednesday, 14 May was the arrival. The guests have been picked up at the Alexander-von-Humboldt-School (except Escuela 2, at the train station in Jever).
The guests were welcomed into the host families.
On Thursday, 15 May at 8.35 am there was a welcome, and at 9 am the group of guests started to a tour through Ostfriesland.
At lunch the guests got a pizza and then had time to visit the beach promenade.
At 3 pm the tour ended and the guests went back into the host families.
On Friday, 16 May, the workshops took place and students of the Alexander-von-Humboldt-School prepared the corso in their class for Saturday.
At 2 pm started the soccer tournament on the sports field. In a fair contest won the team "Green Power" before the team "EFW". All teams were mixed from all schools.
From 7 pm there was the disco for all guests and host in the hall of the Alexander-von-Humboldt-School.
Around 11 pm the big fireworks was ignited.
On Saturday, May 17 all students and guests meet at 8.35 am at school and preparared the big parade.
From 10 am the move started from school in the direction of the market square.
Against 11 am the celebration with speeches and presentations began at a light drizzle, but the motivation was not broken.
At 3 pm the event on the market square was finished.
The other afternoon and evening the guests spent in the host families.
On Sunday, 18 May was the day of departure. All guests left Wittmund.
We thank all the hosts for the friendly reception of a guest student, all helping hands for the strong support and the many sponsors for the financial support, so that this event could be so successfull.
Outlook: The next event EuroRevue will be in Oude Pekela 2009.
