Dagmar and Hartmut were going with 20 girls to Aarhus in may 2005. Our girls danced Hip-Hop to a song of Rihana and JeanPaul. They had much fun with all the other girls and boys from Europe.
The RytmeXpressen was a highlight at this event. In 4 big groups all students moved, danced and drumed together in international mixed teams. In the afternoon they presented a great show. All the 200 students had much fun together and the teachers too in these workshops.
On friday were the event and all students presented a very good show of music, dancing or percussion. After the presentation all the students sang the HEART BEAT song. Every school have sung one verse in their own language and all pupils have sung the chorus together (na na na listen to your heart....). All have done a good homework. The song was very nice. It was very good to make music together. It was a flame for EuroBeat, that every student sang the song.
The disco in the night was very hot and full of dancing students. They had much fun together.
We had nice days altogether. A very warm and good atmospare were all the time.

The Thuesday, 10th May, was the arrival day. All students were hosted in a familie of the organizing schools.
On Wednesday all students are welcome in the Town Hall of Valencia with a little present.
Subsequently, all students conducted an excursion with a scavenger hunt and thereby they saw some important places of Valencia.
Then they were on the beach and some have bathed in the sea. In the evening all went out with their host families.
On Thursday, all students have worked in workshops and have created a funny video, a "lipdub", together.
In the afternoon they learned together in mixed groups.
On Friday morning one part of the students went to the theater of Picanya and viewed an excellent stage play based on "Twilight" in English language.
Some were so "flashed", that they had to play in the act itself immediately as an actor.
Also afterwords most of the students took pictures together with the actors.
The other part took the posibility of a rehearsal of the own presentation on the stage in the Picanya Sports Hall and played some games around the hall. In the afternoon the groups swapped.
In the evening all enjoyed the disco in the American School of Valencia.
On Saturday all participating schools showed their presentation they had prepared at home. It was a big show in the Picanya Sports Hall. Ten schools took part of this show:

The rest of the day and the next day until departure the students stayed at their host families.

On Wednesday, 14 May was the arrival. The guests have been picked up at the Alexander-von-Humboldt-School (except Escuela 2, at the train station in Jever).
The guests were welcomed into the host families.
On Thursday, 15 May at 8.35 am there was a welcome, and at 9 am the group of guests started to a tour through Ostfriesland.
At lunch the guests got a pizza and then had time to visit the beach promenade.
At 3 pm the tour ended and the guests went back into the host families.
On Friday, 16 May, the workshops took place and students of the Alexander-von-Humboldt-School prepared the corso in their class for Saturday.
At 2 pm started the soccer tournament on the sports field. In a fair contest won the team "Green Power" before the team "EFW". All teams were mixed from all schools.
From 7 pm there was the disco for all guests and host in the hall of the Alexander-von-Humboldt-School.
Around 11 pm the big fireworks was ignited.
On Saturday, May 17 all students and guests meet at 8.35 am at school and preparared the big parade.
From 10 am the move started from school in the direction of the market square.
Against 11 am the celebration with speeches and presentations began at a light drizzle, but the motivation was not broken.
At 3 pm the event on the market square was finished.
The other afternoon and evening the guests spent in the host families.
On Sunday, 18 May was the day of departure. All guests left Wittmund.
We thank all the hosts for the friendly reception of a guest student, all helping hands for the strong support and the many sponsors for the financial support, so that this event could be so successfull.
Outlook: The next event EuroRevue will be in Oude Pekela 2009.
