Little Tasks for special Jobs

Now Reporter, Coreporter, Photographer, Webdesigner and Webmanager of all participating groups got mails with special little tasks for their job in Wittmund in June.

 

The Reporters have to write a short article of their national group, some sentences about the group and what they expect in Wittmund and have to send it per mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

The Coreporters have to help their national Reporters by presenting their group.

The Photographers should  take the camera, make some photos from their group and send them per mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
They also have to study the manual of the camera (http://committee-europe.eu/downloads/Manual_Rollei_S-50.pdf).

The Webdesigners should take a photo editor like "IrfanView" and should try to cut or resize pictures from the Photographer to 800 pixel length and send them to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

The Webmanagers got already the account for the webpage, so that they have to login on http://committee-europe.eu and have to alter the password to their own one.

 

In Wittmund they will learn more about their special jobs. The reports you will find soon in "News from EuroWater".

 

Presentation of the Polish Group

Our national group is not large. It consists of six people and the project supervisor. We know one another well, we like one another and can work together.
 
Kasia is a crazy person, who likes anime movies and ia a fan of the "Sherlock" series.
Agata has interesting ideas, she does well in every situation. She likes good movies.
Iza is intelligent, she likes German language. She loves animals.
Daniel is easy to make friends with. He likes football.
Arek is calm but he often has surprising ideas. He likes anime movies.
Ilona is calm, intelligent, she poorly copes skill games but she tries to pass them. She likes animals and German language.
 
The supervisor of the project is Mrs. Anna Osiak. She has a positive attitude to other people, always willing to listen to us and to assist us.
 
 
We expect that we will learn much about the ecosystems in water reservoirs and the water management in many countries. We hope that during the project we will meet interesting people, improve German language and learn about the culture of other countries. We want to have a good time.
 

First result of Water Footprint

First result of Water Footprint survey among the students of 9 from 10 schools.
 
 
This diagramm shows the amount of water every person needs in one year in cubic meter. Note, one cubic meter water is 1000 liter water and has the weight of 1000 kg or one ton!
 
 
Please compare the own school/region with the result of all other schools/regions.
 

Measuring Case for Water Analysis

For the measurement of some most important parameters we have chosen for a measurement case with 7 VISOCOLOR® ECO test kits from Macherey-Nagel and additionally further 5 VISOCOLOR® ECO test kits in another case especially for the analysis of drinking water.

National Parameters

Now the next task is to compare the national regulations implementing the European Water Directive and add the values into a national table. Therefor we have prepared a table with all values of chemical and indicator parameters of the European Water Directive in national languages.
